Health secrets to unfold at TTD Kalyana Mandapam
The Amrutham Ayurveda Arogya, a vernacular monthly magazine, will conduct Ayurveda mela and exhibition at TTD Kalyana Mandapam in Himayatnagar from January 18 to 24.
The magazine is receiving accolades from readers for its credibility and for creating awareness about the importance of Ayurvedic medicines, according to a press note.
Ayurveda has a proven record of healing various ailments. Ayurveda and Indian traditions are closely linked. Moreover, it has become a traditional medicine, with many households habituated to ayurveda in the country.
Scientists are retracing the steps of ancient sciences, particularly those pertaining to the medicinal value plants and herbs. Several medicinal plants will be displayed at the exhibition and informative Ayurveda literature charts will be also exhibited.
Eminent experts of Ayurveda, including Dr Kondapally Narasimha Reddy, Dr TS Prasad,retired additional Director of Ayurveda Dept, Dr Srikanth, Dr V Ravishankar, Dr ND Raju, T Madhu, Dr S Ram Reddy, Dr Venugopal Rao, Dr Krishna Kishore and Dr Ravinder will participate.
Rare plants like rudraksha, ‘cancer’ plant, ‘insulin’ plant, somalatha, kalpavruksha, red chitramoolam, tella eshwari, bhurja patra, agaru, jyotishmathi, bharangi, ekanayakam (useful in diabetes), jatiphal, tejovathi, brahmi, Saraswati, Ratnapurusha, Vidari kandha, and Lakshmana panji will be on display. Visitors can buy the plants.
